APEX Remedial and Sports Massage has been serving the Upper Blue Mountains area since 2020. Founded by Shane Roberts, APEX Remedial and Sports Massage provide clients with the comfort of knowing all our therapists and qualified and registered with governing bodies.

How We Started
How We Started
After spending over 20 years involved in elite gymnastics as an athlete, coach and international judge, owner and lead therapist has gone from producing some of Australia's best athletes to assisting people in rehabilitation, pain management and injury prevention. His time as an elite coach has helped him get a deep understanding of the stresses the body withstands in different sports and physical activities and the importance of maintaining optimal biomechanics to maximise performance.
Although his passion is sport, his skill set allows him to help patients from all walks of life. A keen focus towards the rehabilitation process of injuries and pain prevention makes him a well rounder therapist.

ALYSSA SMITH
With 10 years of experience in massage therapy, I specialize in Swedish, Relaxation and Deep Tissue Massage, stretching, and providing lifestyle suggestions for maintaining a healthy body, preventing issues, and relieving tension. I am currently expanding my expertise by studying remedial massage to enhance my skills and techniques. In addition to my massage practice, I am a certified yoga, breathwork, and meditation teacher, committed to a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

Remedial massage therapist Suzanne can work with your presenting condition to provide focused relief and recovery using techniques including PNF stretching, targeted tissue work, acupressure and postural integration. She has a special interest in working with myofascial release techniques to bring deep ease and alignment to the body. Suzanne also offers lymphatic drainage and Swedish/Relaxation massage.

Emilie works across massage styles and with range of techniques, tailoring treatments towards the client’s needs and presenting/health condition (including pregnancy), and aims to integrate the work of deep tissue, remedial and muscle energy techniques, with the powerful therapeutic qualities of subtle and slow bodywork, using myofascial release techniques and lymphatic drainage massage.
